No matter what our intelligence community and armed forces would claim to have achieved in the forest of Sambisa and most of the North East, Eunice death is not nice for their profile.

Her throat was slit, with her head rested on the Bible she used for preaching.
Knowing the enormity of this kind of martyrdom, among the early callers at the residence was the wife of the vice president, Dolapo Osinbajo, who visited the family at about 12:30p.m that Saturday. Along with the wife of the General Overseer of RCCG, Mrs Adeboye and the Bwari Area Council chairman, Musa Dikko, the visit underscores the sense of dejavu that trailed the killing.
We need not wait for reprisal from other religious groups before we know that we are sitting on a keg of gunpowder. The minister of the Federal Capital Territory and all the heads of the security architecture in place – Police, SSS, Military Intelligence, Armed Forces should re-double efforts to rid Abuja of extremists who are bent on re-enacting April 2014 Nyanya. The greatest tribute to pay to this woman is not to allow her die in vain. Her blood, like those shed in the name of religious intolerance should be investigated and those responsible for her death should be immediately brought to justice. Unfortunately, it reminds one that the endless trial of suspect is obfuscating the temple of justice.
