Delta poised to develop oil producing areas— Okowa

Determined to enhance qualitative education and provide standard welfare facilities in the Oil producing Areas of Delta State, the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, through the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, recently Commissioned six classrooms blocks in Abalagada Secondary School, Four Twin residential bungalows and an ultra-modern multi-purpose hall all in Alabagada community, Ndokwa East Local Government Area of the state.

ASABA—Determined to enhance qualitative education and provide standard welfare facilities in the Oil producing Areas of Delta State, the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, through the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, recently Commissioned six classrooms blocks in Abalagada Secondary School, Four Twin residential bungalows and an ultra-modern multi-purpose hall all in Alabagada community, Ndokwa East Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking at the Commissioning ceremony, Governor Okowa, who was represented by the Managing Director/CEO of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Olorogun Williams Makinde, reaffirmed his commitment to develop the oil producing communities of the state.

He added that his administration would ensure equitable distribution of resources to all areas in the state, pleading with the people in the grassroots to be patient, especially in the face of the harsh economy.
