A road transport solution provider, Bus.com.ng has set up an online ticket-booking platform to ease transportation challenges faced by travelers across the country.
The company said it aimed to ease the movement of road travelers and ensure that in a season as this, they could easily find buses plying their location all from the convenience of their homes.
According to the company’s Business Manager, Gloria Effi, travellers can book for tickets electronically covering over 23 states nationwide and in West Africa.
This would remove the stress of rushing to the park, queuing to buy a ticket, Effi said.
She said: “We are trying to solve the issue of accessibility as well as convenience.”
She noted that since a large number of the population in Nigeria travel by the road and more so because of the economic situation, a lot of people would like to cut cost and travel by road rather than spending so much on airfare.
“What we have done is to improve lifestyle with the solution we offer. While we look at partnering with network providers to make internet access easier, we call on the government to ensure that the road network is constantly in good condition to encourage more road travelers,” Effi added.
