LOKOJA—Police have apprehended the killer of the Kogi State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Ibrahim Jalido, who was murdered last year December.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, William Aya, stated this yesterday while parading 20 criminal suspects at the state police headquarters, Lokoja.
Among the suspects arrested and paraded was an 18-year-old girl, who was paraded along with her three-man gang members for criminal conspiracy and robbery.
Three of the suspects, Adamu Lamun, Musa Audu and Bodori Ide, were arrested for kidnapping a lady, Hajia Aishatu Shehu, on February 4 and releasing her after collecting N500,000 ransom.
Aya said: “After collection of ransom, SARS operatives swung into action through intelligence gathering and arrested the suspects. They led the operatives to Igalamela/Odolu where the exhibits were recovered.”
Speaking during interaction with newsmen, the teenage girl, while confessing to the crime, said she had only participated in three robbery cases.
Items recovered from the suspects were locally-made pistols, Dane guns, military uniform, 150 wraps of Indian hemp, 20 empty cartridges shell and cutlasses among other dangerous weapons.
