Newsmen correspondent, who visited the affected areas on Monday, reports that among property destroyed were the palace of the traditional ruler of the town, Oba Ayodeji Ikupoluyi.
The rainstorm also affected several other private and public buildings in the community.
Two of the victims, Mrs Eunice Ayomola and Mrs Comfort Afolabi, both widows, who spoke with newsmen, called on the government to assist them.
Mrs Afolabi, who narrated her ordeal, said this is the second time within three months that she would fall victim of rainstorm.
She explained that the first time was when on Jan. 20 during the first rain in the town.

Afolabi, while pleading for assistance from the government, expressed regret that none of her children, who had graduated was working.
The other victim, a 90-year-old widow, Mrs Ayomola, whose building’s roof was removed completely, said she is currently seeking refuge in one of her relation’s house.
She said, ‘‘the rain started late Sunday night and all of a sudden I just discovered that the whole roof of my house has been removed.’’
A resident, who spoke with newsmen, Mr Femi Oluseyi, said the Oba Ikupoluyi, had not moved into the palace.
He, however, said that the chiefs of the town had been holding meetings inside the building.
Newsmen also reported that other property affected were electric poles, school and residential buildings.
However, this is the third time in 2017 when rainstorm would wreak havoc in Ikole Local Government Area of the state.
