According to a family member, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the abductors “surprisingly contacted the family members via phone last Thursday night, demanding N150m ransom.”
The Nasarawa State Chapter of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria says it has adopted traditional method of “oath taking” to tackle cattle rustling, armed robbery and other criminal acts among its members.
Zamfara State government has sought the support of the Nigerian Army to tackle the security challenges facing the state.
