As a result of the attack, he said, irate youths mobbed the suspect, who is now unconscious and admitted in hospital under protective custody.
He stated that the Corpses and injured have been evacuated to Gombe general hospital.
Meanwhile, he said the commissioner of police, Cp Damian Chukwu has directed the Divisional police officer of Kwaya kusar Division to transfer the suspect to The State Criminal investigation and intelligence department (CIID) for a discreet investigation as well as to determine the mental state of the suspect.
